Zero Space Framed Sculptures & Glass Henge

Zero Spaces: Hand embossed sculptures in Khadi paper. My aim is to make minimal interventions to a material and let light and shadow do their work. The process begins with excavating a former with a rotary drill tool, which can take many days. For each sculpture I first get to know the paper, its irregularities and features and when I feel ready I seek out its final form. The placement of the paper and the size and position of the planetary forms makes each one unique.

Glass Henge: Hot cast layered paintings of glass, metal and paint encoded with asemic scripts. A still quiet space for a busy world and busy minds.
